At S.T.E.V.E.S., we understand that life can take unexpected turns. Our mission goes beyond traditional rescue efforts; we provide financial assistance to pet owners who find themselves in difficult situations. If a beloved pet is placed in animal control and the owner cannot afford the fees to retrieve them, S.T.E.V.E.S. steps in to help cover those costs. We believe that no pet should be separated from their owner due to financial hardship. Whether it’s a medical emergency ,arrest or even the unfortunate passing of an owner, we are here to support both pets and their families in their time of need. Our goal is to ensure that pets stay with their loved ones, providing comfort and companionship during tough times. With S.T.E.V.E.S., you can trust that we prioritize the well-being of pets and their owners, making a difference when it matters most.

How we rescue and support pets in need
As a non-profit organization operating solely on donations, we dedicate every resource to preventing surrenders and saving pets during extreme emergencies.

We provide funding and support for county licensing, rabies vaccinations, and two weeks' worth of food for pets when their owners are unable to afford these essentials. Our goal is to ensure that these pets can be reunited with their owners.
When unexpected life events hit families, we offer temporary support and intervention to keep pets safe, healthy, and out of crowded shelters.
Financial crisis relief
We work directly across, Florida to connect pet parents with crucial resources, physical therapy, pet food assistance, and educational support.
